SIGS and Computer User Groups
Computer Club Directory
The Computer Club supports local computer groups around the world.
User groups are organizations for exchanging ideas and information
about computers, software and related issues. Group members generally
own a particular brand of computer or have a special interest
in a specific application. Most groups welcome new members. You
needn't have any special knowledge or experience to join, just
a common interest in some aspect of computing. Members range from
novices to advanced programmers, and they're eager to learn and
teach. If you need advice or just want to meet fellow computer
users, visit a user group. Meeting times and locations may change
without notice, so a phone call to the appropriate contact person
is recommended. Meetings are held in schools, libraries, members
homes and other places that enable users to get together and discuss
computing topics of interest.
